Miramichi Salmon Invitational Hockey Tournament | Miramichi Rotary Pond Hockey |Miramichi Salmon Invitational Hockey Tournament The Miramichi Salmon Tournament Committee is hosting every year a Miramichi Salmon Invitational Hockey Tournament.The tournament will be hosting teams from all the Atlantic Provinces. Three (3) arenas will be used for the five (5) days of the tournament - The Lord Beaverbrook Arena, Miramichi Civic Center and Baie Ste. Anne Arena. Sunny Corner Arena may be used for a couple of games. Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites is next door to the Miramichi Civic Center and we look forward to having many of the minor hockey players and their parents as guests at our family hotel during this tournament. Miramichi Rotary Pond Hockey The Miramichi Rotary Pond Hockey Tournament was started in 2005 to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rotary International. It was held at the French Fort Cove and has been held there annually since then. It promotes the City of Miramichi as a winter tourism destination, and allows for a lot of fun and exercise. It is a major fund- raiser for the Rotary Club of Newcastle. Their fifth annual “Rotary Pond Hockey Tournament” will be held on February 5th-7th, 2010. Our Hotel is located just 3 km from the pond!
